Before making application to the RCMP Firearms Program for a firearms license, you must complete the Canadian Firearms Safety Course delivered by an FSESO (Firearms Safety and Education Service of Ontario) instructor. 2024 Guelph Multi-Gun Championship Match
Marcell is a practical shooting competitor and participates in Multi-Gun, IPSC, IDPA, Action Shotgun, Action Pistol and Military Service Rifle Competitions. Marcell is Range Safety Officer, Safety Instructor and Trainer and shoots competitively.



Upon completing the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) and Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) and required examinations. Students will have gained a full understanding of:

  • Proving Firearms Safe

  • History of Firearms and Muzzle Loaders

  • Safe Operation and Handling of Firearms

  • Understanding Shotgun and Rifle ammunition

  • Loading and Unloading, 

  • Care and Maintenance of Firearms

  • Considerations for the Outdoors

  • Safety Rules and Guidlines at the Gun Range

  • Social/Moral/Legal Responsibilities of Legal Firearm Owners

  • Transportation, Storage and Display of Firearms


Looking to become a member at a local gun club? We review transportation requirements and basic safety expectations while shooting at the gun range. Our instructors are club level safety instructors and range officers.

FIREARMS SAFETY EDUCATION SERVICE ONTARIO


The Firearms Safety Education Service of Ontario (FSESO) is an association of firearms safety instructors. All FSESO instructors are designated by the Chief Firearms Office to teach and examine the Canadian Firearm Safety Course (CFSC) and the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course in Ontario (CRFSC).

Marcell is a Canadian Shooting Sports Provincial Instructor/Trainer. He enjoys training new firearms safety instructors and range officers. At the club level Marcell has taught New Member Safety and Orientation courses and Range Officer Qualification courses. He enjoys opportunities to work with young people and adults to achieve full competency with respect to the shooting sports. Marcell has taught Junior Pistol and instructed young people on firearms aged 7-12. Additionally, Marcell shoots International Practical Shooting Confederation – IPSC, Action Pistol, USPSA, Precision Pistol, Multi-gun, International Defensive Pistol Association – IDPA and Tactical Service Rifle. In addition to competing in these disciplines, he is also a Qualified Range Officer in the aforementioned shooting disciplines: IPSC, Action Pistol, IDPA and Multi-gun. Marcell is also a Chief Safety Officer and Safety Officer Instructor for the International Defensive Pistol Association. Marcell Wolf is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers and has taught elementary and secondary students in the public education system. Marcell is currently a high school administrator and teaches additional qualification courses for OCT qualified teachers at York University.



Courses are offered at the Royal Canadian Legion and several other community partners within York Region and Simcoe County. If you have a corporate venue or a private group we can come to you.
